2006 SEASON

In 2006, the Oxbow Archaeologists excavated at the Sias East site (20MD263).  We expanded our excavations of the 110 West Block and investigated a Middle Woodland (ca. 200 B.C.-600 A.D.)occupation.  Overall the season was productive, but it was cut short by bad weather.  We were unable to get into the field the last half of September and all of October.  We closed the site for the winter during the first week of November.  This page contains links to our weekly updates for the 2006 season.
