20MD534 DATE

One C-14 was run on char scraped from the interior of a rimsherd from Feature 5 at site 20MD534. This date was run in 2004. The resulting date was 590 ± 40 and calibrates to 1400 cal A.D. (2 sigma age range 1310-1410 cal A.D.). This date has not yet been published. The rimsherds from Feature 5 are illustrated below (pictures of Feature 5 can be seen by following this link June 18 and 21, 2003).
