A couple gun parts have been recovered from the site. These consist of a fragment of the tang of a gun (left side of picture) and a fragment of a brass ramrod pipe (right side of picture). The ramrod pipe fragment is consistent with those found on Northwest and Chief's Grade Trade guns.

Several gunflints and gunflint fragments have been recovered from the site. Most of them are British blade gunflints indicating a date after 1800. However, there is also one French "honey colored" flint (bottom left of picture). All of the gunflints from 20MD534 are heavily used and battered. The picture on the left shows the top side of the gunflints, while that on the right shows the bottom.

Numerous pieces of shot and lead scrap have been recovered from the site. A few lead balls have also been found. The two on the left top of the picture below are about 54 or 55 caliber. The pieces of shot in the bottom row represent the size range present on the site. Some of the shot my be associated with later hunting activities at the site since we found shotgun shells, 22 bullets and shell casings as well as rifle cartridges in plow zone on top of the terrace at the site. However, shot was also common in the sealed midden and much of it is certainly associated with the main Chippewa occupation.
