20MD534 PREHISTORIC

    There were also prehistoric occupations at 20MD534.  Lithic artifacts are relatively scarce at 20MD534 and consist of a Bayport chert projectile point, a small Norwood chert endscraper, and a stone bead.

20MD534 LITHIC ARTIFACTS

    Late Woodland grit tempered pottery is somewhat more common.  Examples are illustrated below.
