Hi Oxbow Archaeologists,

Marianne, Dave, Nik, Greg and I met Saturday morning and did lab work – mainly sorting 20MD263 1/8” screen bags. Marianne found a black circular trade bead.

In the afternoon, Marianne, Kevin and I manned the Oxbow booth at CNC’s 40th Birthday party. It went well with lots of people.

I received an email from John O. today. He is recovering quickly from his surgery and plans to be in Midland on August 26 and 27 to dig with us. Also, Greg informed us Saturday that Lia recently had a heart attack and that she is doing quiet well. We all hope both John and Lia get well soon.

Plans for the week – on Wednesday we won’t do lab work but rather will excavate at the site. I should be at the site by 4 or 5 P.M.
On Saturday, we’ll also plan on excavating.
