BUTTONS

Most of the buttons in the Pomranky Collection are one- or two-piece brass buttons.  These are varieties common in the 1830's.  Plain one-piece brass buttons similar to the one in the center of this photo and fragments of bone buttons were also recovered in the 2002 CNC excavations.  Follow this link to see the back of one of the brass buttons:  BUTTON BACK.
