MULBERRY FLOW

This panelled or fluted cup fragment of Mulberry Flow Transfer Printed ware from the Pomranky collection dates later than the main Ponton site occupation.  This variety of earthenware was introduced in the mid-1840's and was common through the 1850's.  Another sherd of this vessel was found in the 2002 CNC excavations on the west side of the site (see September 7, 2002).
