Hi Oxbow Archaeologists,

We didn’t do too much at Sias East on Saturday. In the morning it looked like it was going to rain so Nik, Becky and I did lab work. In the afternoon, Brian and I went to the site and excavated the 0-20 cm level of 0S-99W. We only found flakes, bone fragments and fire-cracked rock. I excavated the 65-70 cm level of 0S-104W which was sterile (see the map below).

Tomorrow we will be doing lab work at the Resource Building. We will plan on excavating at Sias East this Saturday.

Hope to see you at the site.

Scott
