Hi Oxbow Archaeologists,

We had a short day at the Sias East site on Saturday. Marianne, Becky, Nik and I opened and
excavated the 0-20 cm level of unit 0S-98W (see Map below). We recovered some flake, bone
fragments and historic material. I left the site early to help get Dan ready for his Siberia trip, so I didn’t
excavate in the afternoon.

This week we will not meet tomorrow (Wednesday). We will excavate at Sias East on Saturday (all
day) and will meet next week on Wednesday at the Resource Building.

Hope to see you at the site.

Scott
