Looking for a fun, out-of-the-ordinary gift, or just a unique family experience? You can become involved in the magic of Chippewa Nature Center’s maple syrup season by participating in Rent-a-Sap-Bucket! For $100 ($80 is tax deductible), you will be assigned a number that corresponds with a numbered sap bucket, two tickets to the Maple Syrup Day pancake meal on March 17 and a sample bottle of syrup produced on-site. We will let you know when your bucket is hung in the Sugarbush and when the sap is flowing. Your name and bucket number will be posted on the Sugarhouse door. Enjoy the magical experience of being able to watch your own bucket collecting sap!

Visit your bucket as often as you wish! Experience the magic of the sugarhouse after hours, as the sap is boiled into syrup, by attending a "Twilight at the Sugarhouse" program on March 27 or 29 from 6-8 pm. The Sugarhouse is also open on Saturdays and Sundays in March from 1:30-4:30 pm to experience first-hand the magic of the sugaring season that you’re helping to support.
